Source Talks: On Kotlin are pleased to confirm our next meetup.
We are super excited to be joined by Anton Arhipov, Developer Advocate at JetBrains, who will give a talk on Idiomatic Kotlin.
"It's easy to start using Kotlin — like Java, so your experience will easily let you start programming in Java style. However, learning Kotlin's best practices is a must to take full advantage of the language. Kotlin provides many features for writing concise and readable code. This session will look at Kotlin features that make the programs look beautiful and readable."
R3 will be kindly hosting us, and Dan Newton, Staff Engineer at R3, will be giving a talk titled "Should you use Kotlin for your APIs?".
Event Schedule:
6:00 PM: Open doors, networking, drinks, and pizza
6:30 PM: 1st talk
7:00 PM: 2nd talk
7:30 PM: More networking, food, and drinks
8:00 PM: End
Sign up to join us for Source Talks: On Kotlin 6. Look forward to seeing you there!
We're proud to be supported by JetBrains.
If you want to expand your Kotlin knowledge further, check out our interview with David Denton. The interview explores http4K, the web library written in Kotlin, why it was developed, and its key benefits.
