Role Overview An opportunity has arisen for an experienced SAP EWM Specialist to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of warehouse management solutions within complex supply chain environments. The role focuses on leveraging SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to enhance warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain stakeholders to ensure warehouse systems effectively support operational requirements and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and support SAP EWM solutions across warehouse and distribution environments.
- Collaborate directly with manufacturing, warehouse, and supply chain teams to understand operational requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Support implementation, rollout, and optimisation of EWM processes within enterprise SAP landscapes.
- Configure and enhance inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes, including picking, packing, and inventory management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and process issues impacting warehouse operations.
- Work with technical teams to support system integrations between SAP EWM and other SAP modules or external systems.
- Contribute to testing, documentation, and training during project and support cycles.
- Ensure solutions follow best practices for warehouse management and SAP system governance.
- 8–12 years of experience working with SAP warehouse management solutions, including strong exposure to SAP EWM.
- Proven experience supporting warehouse operations within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics and warehouse processes.
- Experience working closely with business users and operational stakeholders.
- Ability to support configuration, testing, and functional design of EWM solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills within operational environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations or migrations.
- Familiarity with integration between EWM and other SAP supply chain modules.
- Exposure to automation, RF solutions, or advanced warehouse technologies within SAP environments.
