Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a cross-functional squad delivering high-impact change within a regulated healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Understand user needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the Squad.
  • Build use cases, user stories, visualisations, and process flows to support solution design.
  • Stay 2–3 sprints ahead of the squad and ensure each feature has a clear Definition of Done.
  • Communicate vision to developers and testers, ensuring shared understanding of outcomes and acceptance criteria.
  • Document confirmed business processes to serve as a reference for development and IT support.
  • Apply business process improvement methods to optimise workflows and reduce waste.
  • In partnership with the Product Owner, maintain a deep understanding of the domain to ensure backlog priorities align with business/Group needs.
  • Shape and prioritise the backlog using business expertise and customer insight; translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Track metrics and build reports to measure progress, benefits realisation, and delivery health.

  • Shape the squad vision/roadmap and steer delivery towards measurable business impact.
  • Balance business value with technical feasibility when prioritising stories and defining scope.

Requirements

  • Understand user and business needs, translating them into clear, detailed requirements for delivery teams.
  • Strong Agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban), including backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies.
  • Skilled in requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management.

  • Experience with metrics, reporting, and outcome-based delivery; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare/regulated domains and appreciation of controls, auditability, and data governance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with strong attention to detail.
