Procurement Data Analyst - 6 month contract (remote)


We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to manage supplier negotiations, support RFP development, and ensure cost-effective vendor agreements for a key client. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams such as Procurement, Legal, and Finance to drive procurement strategies and optimize supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiation Coordination: Manage and track multiple supplier negotiations, ensuring timely and favorable supply agreements.
• RFP & Contract Development: Assist in preparing RFPs, analyzing bids, and drafting contracts.
• Vendor Pricing Analysis: Evaluate vendor pricing and terms to ensure cost competitiveness and identify savings opportunities.
• Bid Management: Receive, review, and analyse vendor bids for decision-making.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across procurement, legal, and finance to clarify proposals and align on procurement strategies.
• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of received bids and RFPs to prepare fact-based negotiation materials.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and ensure clear communication between all parties.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, conduct root cause analysis, and interpret bid and pricing information.
• Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present ideas and updates clearly.
• Negotiation & Vendor Management: Knowledge of purchasing, tendering, and negotiation principles.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Data Science, Life Sciences, Engineering (preferred: Supply Chain/Business)
• Experience in procurement, RFP management, and vendor negotiations.
