Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and management systems.
- Automate data processes by eliminating manual steps, ensuring efficiency.
- Build scalable data architectures to support business needs.
- Integrate and optimize modern data storage, retrieval, and processing frameworks.
- Develop high-performance algorithms for predictive analytics and streaming data transformations.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to enhance system functionality.
- Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Embed new data techniques into the business through training, role modeling, and innovation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven track record in data engineering roles, ideally in Financial Services.
- Expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, and ETL frameworks.
- Knowledge of AWS tools, data warehousing, and modern coding practices.
- Familiarity with distributed computing, machine learning principles, and predictive analytics.
- Technical Proficiency:
- SQL/PostgreSQL, Python, PySpark, AWS tools, GitLab.
- MS Office Visual Basic, Oracle DB, Business Objects.
- Java, C#, Tableau, SAS 4GL.
