About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain innovative data processing and management systems. In this role, you’ll work at the forefront of data-driven transformation, developing scalable architectures that enhance customer experiences and ensure data security in the Financial Services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and management systems.
• Automate data processes by eliminating manual steps, ensuring efficiency.
• Build scalable data architectures to support business needs.
• Integrate and optimize modern data storage, retrieval, and processing frameworks.
• Develop high-performance algorithms for predictive analytics and streaming data transformations.
• Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to enhance system functionality.
• Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Embed new data techniques into the business through training, role modeling, and innovation.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Proven track record in data engineering roles, ideally in Financial Services.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, and ETL frameworks.
  • Knowledge of AWS tools, data warehousing, and modern coding practices.
  • Familiarity with distributed computing, machine learning principles, and predictive analytics.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • SQL/PostgreSQL, Python, PySpark, AWS tools, GitLab.
  • MS Office Visual Basic, Oracle DB, Business Objects.
  • Java, C#, Tableau, SAS 4GL.
