Job Description
Function/team: Data & Analytics
Overview: This role sits at the intersection of business stakeholders and technical data teams, with a strong focus on data management, data strategy, and delivery of cross-functional data initiatives.
The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between business units and technical teams during a period of evolving team structure and data transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between technical data teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, scope, and outcomes
- Own and drive data management–focused projects, beyond pure delivery tracking
- Support initiatives to centralise and standardise data across multiple European locations (for example)
- Translate business needs into clear data and technical requirements
- Work closely with data engineers and platform teams on:
- Data platforms and data warehouses
- API integrations and data ingestion processes
- Provide structure, documentation, and governance around data initiatives
- 5 years of experience in data project management
- Experience in a consultancy setting
- Strong experience working in data-driven environments (data platforms, analytics, data management)
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts (e.g. APIs, data pipelines, data platforms) to non-technical stakeholders - data science background preferable
- Experience working with data warehouses or modern data platforms
- Experience with Snowflake–based data platforms
- Familiarity with tools such as DataIQ or similar data governance / analytics platforms
- Experience or interest in sports/entertainment industry
