Job Summary:

Seeking a Database Engineer for this role; skilled in Couchbase/Cassandra (NoSQL) to design, develop, and deploy database solutions for a Major Financial instiution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Couchbase/Cassandra database systems
• Manage database tasks: updates, backups, recovery, tuning, troubleshooting
• Ensure database architecture aligns with business needs and performance goals
• Create solutions to meet evolving business requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Proven experience with Couchbase and/or Cassandra
• Strong skills in schema design and data modeling
• Financial services experience preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
• Eligibility to work within the UK.
