Description:

As an Operations/Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the technical and logistical management of production campaigns in a production facility for the manufacture of bioconjugates. You will be a member of an interdisciplinary team and will work in project teams that deal with investments and the optimization of processes, activities, and systems.

Your responsibilities:

· Involvement in the planning and engineering phase of projects to ensure compliance with technical specifications for the plants and a successful production campaign

· Organizational and operational support, as well as monitoring of production campaigns to ensure production and safety even outside normal working hours

· Preparation of cGMP-compliant documentation in collaboration with the plant team leader, research/development, and operational biotechnologists

· Plant technical instruction and production-specific training of operators during production

· Monitoring of full compliance with operating regulations and manufacturing protocols, as well as intervention in the event of deviations

· Support of information exchange and communication within the operating group

· Continuous improvement of plants, procedures, and processes (6S, Lean Six Sigma, KAIZEN) in compliance with safety, hygiene, environmental, and quality requirements

Your requirements profile:

· Completed technical education or training (vocational apprenticeship, higher professional examination, bachelor's degree, master's degree)

· Production experience in the manufacture of chemical or biotechnological products, or in the food industry, would be advantageous

· Ideally, initial experience in an ISO and/or GMP production environment

· You have basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and an affinity for electronic systems and applications

· Very good written and spoken German, as well as good English skills

· Willingness to perform on-call duty is required
