Role Overview:

As a Network Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our client’s digital infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions that protect their networks from threats, ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage network security solutions using Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, Prisma, Cloudflare, and other leading technologies.
  • Implement and maintain robust DDoS protection measures to safeguard the organization’s assets.
  • Oversee DNS and email security, including managing Ironport and other related technologies.
  • Monitor and analyze security events, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing timely countermeasures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop security strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments to ensure the network's resilience against potential threats.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in cybersecurity and recommend improvements to existing security practices.
Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in network security engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, Prisma, Cloudflare, DDoS Protection, DNS, and Ironport.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, firewall management, and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network security issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Banking or financial services experience is highly desirable but not essential.
