Product Manager


Location: Hybrid – South East England (minimum two days per week in the office)
Reports to: Head of Product


Overview

The Product Manager is responsible for the delivery and ongoing development of a range of digital products. The role involves managing priorities, owning product roadmaps and working closely with design, development, data and research teams, as well as internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

This position suits someone who is comfortable working across disciplines, balancing user needs with organisational goals, and taking products from discovery through to delivery and ongoing improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own one or more digital products or workstreams and manage their roadmaps and delivery.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand user needs and business requirements, helping to define objectives and success measures.
  • Collaborate with UX, design and engineering teams to design, test and deliver solutions.
  • Run or contribute to workshops, discovery sessions and user research activities where required.
  • Write and maintain documentation such as requirements, user stories and processes.
  • Support internal teams with the systems and tools that underpin the products.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing for new features and enhancements.
  • Research potential tools, platforms or suppliers when needed.
  • Use appropriate delivery approaches (Agile or waterfall) depending on the project.
  • Keep up to date with good product practice and trends in digital products.


Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in a product management role.
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative environments.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
  • Comfortable using tools such as Jira, Trello or similar.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to inform decisions.
  • Experience working with a range of stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with digital, media or content?led products.
