SAP BW Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP BW Consultant to join our dynamic team within the Consultancy & Advisory industry. This is a permanent position based in Sweden and is available for an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of SAP Business Warehouse (BW), and demonstrable experience in delivering end-to-end BI solutions.

As an SAP BW Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehousing solutions using SAP BW. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, define data models, and ensure integration with various SAP and non-SAP systems. You will also be expected to provide expert guidance on best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in data reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement SAP BW solutions to meet business intelligence requirements.
• Gather and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Develop data models and manage ETL processes within the SAP BW environment.
• Ensure data integrity and optimise query performance for reporting solutions.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and data flow.
• Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Provide expertise on SAP BW/4HANA upgrades and migrations as needed.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with SAP BW, including BW on HANA and preferably BW/4HANA.
• Proficiency in data extraction, data modelling, and report creation within SAP BW.
• Solid understanding of SAP systems such as ECC, S/4HANA, and related modules.
• Strong skills in ABAP programming for BW developments is a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as SAP BusinessObjects or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Swedish would be advantageous.
• Proven ability to work independently and within team environments.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
