SAP S/4HANA Retail Architect / Project Manager

Overview

An experienced SAP S/4HANA Retail Architect / Project Manager responsible for end-to-end process, solution, and system architecture within SAP S/4HANA Retail in public or private cloud environments. The role combines deep retail process expertise with strong architectural and project leadership capabilities, playing a central role in the planning and delivery of complex retail transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the process and solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA Retail, covering areas such as article master data, pricing, purchasing, replenishment, store operations, finance integration, and omnichannel processes.

• Design and govern a holistic retail system landscape, including SAP S/4HANA (Private/Public Cloud), Industry Cloud solutions, and integrations with non-SAP systems (e.g. logistics providers, POS, transportation, customs, and compliance solutions).

• Lead and control Explore, Design, and Build phases in line with SAP Activate methodology.

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, future-proof SAP retail solutions.

• Manage project delivery activities including roadmap planning, risk and dependency management, resource coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

• Ensure adherence to clean-core principles, template-based architectures, and global rollout standards.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as an SAP S/4HANA Retail Architect and/or Project Manager.

• Deep understanding of retail business processes across merchandising, supply chain, store operations, and finance.

• Proven track record delivering SAP S/4HANA Retail programmes in cloud environments.

• Experience integrating SAP with third-party retail, logistics, and POS solutions.
