Project Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Learning (LMS) Lead Consultant to support a project for Lufthansa Group Business Support GmbH, focused on the integration with CIMOIO.
The consultant will be responsible for the configuration, integration and ongoing optimisation of SAP SuccessFactors Learning, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of learning and compliance management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements for learning, training and compliance programmes, translating them into functional designs.
- Configure and manage SAP SuccessFactors Learning, including learning catalogues, items, curricula, learning plans, assignments, equivalencies, assignment profiles and approval workflows.
- Set up and maintain security configurations, including domains, roles, permissions and Role-Based Permissions (RBP).
- Manage learning content and integrations with content providers, working with standards such as SCORM, AICC and xAPI.
- Manage Instructor-Led Training (ILT), including sessions, scheduling, resources, waitlists and cancellations.
- Design and maintain integrations with Employee Central, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Succession and third-party systems.
- Work with Integration Center, APIs, SFTP and OData to support system integrations.
- Manage data loads, migrations and connectors for user, item and learning completion records.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Report Center, Story Reports and Ad Hoc reporting.
- Configure notifications, email templates and learner and administrator interfaces.
- Lead testing activities, including unit testing, SIT and UAT, as well as cutover and go-live support.
- Manage incidents, enhancements, root-cause analysis and release-related activities.
- Prepare functional documentation and training materials, and provide knowledge transfer to administrators and end users.
- Advise stakeholders on best practices for compliance training, audit readiness and learner experience.
- Around 8 years of overall professional experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Learning (LMS).
- Proven experience as an SAP SuccessFactors Learning Consultant, ideally in a lead capacity.
- SAP SuccessFactors Learning certification.
- Experience with at least one full-cycle SuccessFactors Learning implementation or a substantial long-term support engagement.
- Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Learning configuration and administration.
- Good understanding of the Learning data model, Learning Administration and Admin Center.
- Practical experience with learning content standards, including SCORM, AICC and xAPI.
- Experience with system integrations, data migration and data management using Integration Center, SFTP, OData/APIs and CSV/XML loads.
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors reporting tools and basic SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in an international project environment.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI).
- Experience integrating SuccessFactors Learning with third-party platforms and external content providers.
- Previous experience in complex enterprise environments.
