Senior Data Scientist
Remote Role in USA (East Coast Time Zone)
Salary: $95,000 - $120,000

Use Your Data Science Skills to Drive Meaningful Impact in Global Healthcare We are working with a leading organization in the healthcare and life sciences sector that is on the lookout for a Senior Data Scientist to join their Medical Analytics and Innovation team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a group of highly skilled data scientists, analysts, and domain experts—applying cutting-edge technologies to help clients extract meaningful insights and improve medical outcomes.
You’ll take a hands-on approach to designing and implementing machine learning models, creating scalable analytical tools, and influencing high-level decision-making through data-driven storytelling.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead data science projects from start to finish, delivering high-impact analytical solutions.
  • Build and optimize machine learning and NLP models to tackle real business problems.
  • Handle large, complex, and unstructured datasets from cloud environments (e.g., Azure Blob, AWS S3).
  • Develop reusable tools for insight generation, performance benchmarking, and decision support.
  • Collaborate across departments (analytics, engineering, medical strategy, and more).
  • Present insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines and end-to-end analytics workflows.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or pharma.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML/NLP techniques and real-world applications (e.g., classification, clustering, entity recognition).
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).
  • Proficiency in working with unstructured data (e.g., PDFs, XML, TXT).
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly and influence business decisions.
  • A proactive, curious mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with Spark, TensorFlow, Hadoop, or Apache tools.
  • Prior work in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare analytics.
  • Understanding of the digital product lifecycle and software deployment best practices.
