Working closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering teams, you will ensure high-quality technical solutions and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
  • Lead the design and development of analog, RF, mixed-signal, and high-speed digital electronics.
  • Oversee PCB design, hardware bring-up, testing, and mechanical and thermal integration.
  • Make technical decisions, manage engineering risks, and ensure design quality and manufacturability.
  • Remain hands-on, supporting debugging and resolving complex engineering challenges.
People Management
  • Manage, mentor, and develop electronics and mechanical engineers.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development.
  • Build a collaborative, high-performing team and manage team capacity.
Project Delivery
  • Plan and deliver team milestones, balancing priorities, resources, and hardware lead times.
  • Establish effective working practices using Agile, Kanban, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to project stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with architecture, verification, software, and other engineering teams.
  • Ensure successful hardware integration, testing, and system-level performance.
  • Support the transition from prototype development to production.

Requirements
  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Applied Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in electronic hardware development, including PCB design and board bring-up.
  • At least 2 years of engineering team management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, RF, and high-speed digital electronics.
  • Experience with PCB design tools, laboratory instrumentation, debugging, and hardware characterisation.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical design, thermal management, and system integration.
  • Experience managing technical projects, cross-functional dependencies, and engineering delivery.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
