Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with advanced expertise in Python to join our team in the Financial Services sector. You will take the lead in designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems, with a specific focus on supporting Generative AI applications. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain a robust set of backend components to support Generative AI (GenAI) applications.
  • Create cloud-first solutions leveraging AWS services such as AppSync, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
  • Engage in AI-driven research and development with a focus on investment strategies, stakeholder engagement, and delivering product demonstrations.
  • Write scalable, testable, and efficient code.
Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of software development experience in an enterprise setting.
  • Expert proficiency in Python programming - minimum of 3 years experience. 
  • Experience within the Financial Services industry.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum, and tools like Git/GitHub. 
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database platforms.
  • Experience with cloud and serverless services (AWS AppSync, Lambda, and Amazon DynamoDB).
