Staff Engineer (Frontend)

Job title: Staff Engineer (Frontend) Industry: Consumer & Retail Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom Salary: £100,000 GBP Job Overview: We're looking for a skilled Frontend Staff Engineer to play a pivital role. You will work closely with and lead team members in creating and customizing solutions to meet customer technology needs. Embarking on an exciting stage in Product Development creating new products and developing the new strategy for existing products looking at application modernisation. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead with the best practices for software development and setting the future Front-End strategy.
• Working with teams to develop products and set foundational capabilities for teams to thrive.
•  Perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective action for complex issues/defects.
•  Provide reliable solutions to intircate problems. 

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Strong familarity with Frontend frameworks (Angular, Typescript, Node)
• Experience with Cloud architectures and Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), GCP preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Exposure to full software development life cycle (Agile, SDLC).
• Familiar with Cypress (Unit testing and/or other testing frameworks) and Continuous Deployment.
