Technical Evaluation Lead

Role: Technical Evaluation Lead – Embedded Security
Location: Delft, Netherlands
Salary: 90 per hour 

We are looking for a security professional with experience in Smart Cards, Secure Elements, or other Embedded devices. The ideal candidate is proficient in security code reviews, attack techniques (software, side channel analysis, fault injection), and has a deep understanding of embedded security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate embedded products using smart card technologies in small teams (2-4 analysts).
• Threat Analysis: Identify and address security weaknesses through device specification analysis, code reviews, hardware breakdowns, and tool development.
• Reporting: Provide comprehensive reports with recommendations to solve security issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with customers and other specialists to improve product security.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Academic Background: Degree in Information Technology or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience (4+ years):
  • Programming languages: C, C++, JavaCard, Assembly.
  • Embedded systems: Smart Cards, Secure Elements, System-on-Chips.
  • Security Evaluation: Experience with Common Criteria, SESIP, EMVCo, or Global Platform.
  • Java Card: Proficiency with Java Card evaluations and System Protection Profiles.
  • Experience in leading technical teams during evaluations.
• Additional Skills:
  • Security Testing for embedded systems.
  • EMV payment products knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites (Europe, North America, Asia).
