Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Workplace Rollout Project Manager to lead a large-scale workplace transformation program within a banking environment. The project focuses on the rollout of modern workplace technologies, replacement of legacy desktops, and enablement of secure remote working for approximately 650 users across multiple Swiss locations.

The role requires strong experience in Microsoft modern workplace technologies, cloud-based endpoint solutions, and enterprise-scale rollout projects in regulated environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end rollout of modern workplace infrastructure across multiple locations
  • Manage replacement of legacy desktop environments with remote and cloud-based solutions
  • Coordinate deployment of Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools
  • Oversee Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) implementation and remote client integration
  • Manage integration with Service Desk / ITSM tools
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and banking regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams
  • Coordinate stakeholders across Zurich, Geneva, and other European locations
  • Manage rollout planning, timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Support user migration and onboarding activities
  • Ensure documentation, reporting, and governance standards are met

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as IT Project Manager in workplace / end-user computing projects
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, collaboration services)
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or similar VDI solutions
  • Understanding of cloud integration and hybrid workplace environments
  • Experience with enterprise Service Desk / ITSM integration
  • Background in large-scale desktop replacement or workplace transformation projects
  • Strong stakeholder management in complex enterprise environments
  • Experience working in regulated industries (banking preferred)
  • Ability to manage multi-location rollout projects

Nice to Have

  • German language skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview (data governance / compliance)
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
  • Knowledge of endpoint security and modern device management
  • Familiarity with Swiss banking environments
