About the Role We are looking for an experienced EI&C DeltaV Engineer to support CAPEX projects within a highly regulated pharmaceutical / life sciences environment.
You will be responsible for the design, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of Emerson DeltaV automation systems, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Validation, Quality, and Project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Emerson DeltaV automation solutions for CAPEX projects.
- Configure control strategies, system interfaces, graphics, alarms, and process automation applications within DeltaV.
- Prepare and maintain GxP-compliant engineering and validation documentation.
- Integrate DeltaV with process equipment, PLCs, utilities, MES, and other plant systems.
- Execute and document FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.
- Troubleshoot automation, communication, and control system issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity, change management, and validation requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Engineering, Operations, Quality, Validation, and Project teams.
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV engineering and configuration.
- Experience creating and maintaining GxP documentation within a regulated environment.
- Good understanding of commissioning, qualification, and validation processes.
- Previous experience supporting CAPEX projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
- German language skills are required.
- English proficiency is an advantage.
