Role Overview
You will work on SAP consulting projects focused on logistics and transportation, designing and implementing solutions based on SAP Transportation Management (TM) and SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L). You will take ownership of defined workstreams and contribute to high-quality, end-to-end SAP implementations in international project environments.
You will collaborate closely with customers and project teams to translate business needs into robust SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement business processes and design SAP solutions in the area of logistics and transportation using SAP TM and SAP BN4L
• Take ownership of functional streams within SAP projects, from requirements analysis through configuration, testing, and go-live support
• Configure SAP TM and SAP BN4L, including unit and integration testing, documentation, and validation activities
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and support the development team during build, testing, and deployment
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and support solution decision-making
• Plan and implement work packages within SAP TM and BN4L projects, ensuring high-quality delivery
Skills and Experience
• Minimum 5–7+ years of relevant experience with SAP Transportation Management and/or SAP Business Network for Logistics
• Demonstrated functional and/or technical proficiency in at least three full-cycle SAP implementation projects
• Proven ability to explain and demonstrate SAP TM and BN4L processes and identify process optimisation opportunities
• Strong cross-module knowledge to support end-to-end logistics and transportation process design
• Solid configuration and solution design capabilities
• Consulting mindset with the ability to propose multiple process improvement options, clearly outlining pros and cons
• Experience across multiple industries with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation processes
• SAP certifications in SAP TM and/or BN4L (advantageous)
• Exposure to pre-sales activities such as solution input or proposal support (advantageous)
• Commitment to knowledge sharing and collaboration within project teams
• Experience using AI to enhance delivery (e.g. process analysis, testing support, reporting), with the ability to articulate business value
General Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent qualification
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills in English and German
• Strong team player, comfortable working in complex international environments
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and exposure to diverse industries
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality results and support client outcomes
• Willingness to travel depending on project needs
