Overview

Our client, operating in the energy and financial trading sector, is seeking an experienced SmartStream Endur Consultant with strong technical development skills. The role partners with trading, risk, and back-office teams to design, configure, and enhance Endur solutions across the trade lifecycle. The ideal candidate blends deep Endur functional knowledge with hands-on development using OpenJVS/JVS/AVS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and improve Endur across Front, Middle, and Back Office functions.
• Translate business requirements into Endur functional and technical designs.
• Develop and customise scripts, workflows, interfaces, and reports (OpenJVS, JVS, AVS, OpenComponents).
• Support integrations with market data feeds, ETRM/CTRM systems, SAP, and risk tools.
• Work closely with trading, risk, operations, and architecture teams.
• Support upgrades, migrations, testing, and deployment activities.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root?cause analysis.
• Maintain clear functional and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong, hands-on experience with SmartStream/OpenLink Endur.
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycle processes (capture, risk, settlements, confirmations).
• Technical development experience with OpenJVS, JVS, AVS, OpenComponents, and SQL.
• Experience in energy, commodities, or financial trading environments.
• Strong integration and data-flow understanding.
• Ability to work independently in remote teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Endur upgrade/migration experience (v14+).
• Exposure to other ETRM/CTRM platforms.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting (REMIT/EMIR).
• Experience with power, gas, oil, or environmental products.
• Cloud/API integration experience.
• Background in international remote delivery.
